Test Center Procedures and FAQs

The University of North Georgia (UNG) Testing Centers are governed by the National College Testing Association’s (NCTA) best practices and, as such, take seriously our role of providing a secure test environment.

Check-In Process

During the check-in process, after storing all non-permitted items in a locker, staff will inspect any and all eyeglasses, permitted jewelry and other accessories to look for electronic devices/cameras that could be a security threat in protecting the integrity of content of exams administered.

Health and Safety Measures

  • Hand sanitizer is available. Stations are located in and near our waiting areas, restroom entrances, lab entry and exit doors.
  • Increased cleaning and disinfecting regimens in between all testing appointments.
  • Candidates may wear disposable gloves during testing. Test center staff will inspect gloves both before and after the exam. Gloves must be disposed of in front of the proctor upon completion of the test.
