The mission of the Testing Center at the University of North Georgia (UNG) is to provide a professional testing environment for the campus and community that enables test takers to perform at their maximum ability and provide services to assist students, faculty, staff and the community in maintaining the university’s goal of academic excellence and leadership. In order to provide professional standards in testing services that reflect positively on the university, the Testing Center maintains membership with and adheres to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.
The University of North Georgia Testing Centers serve as a premier testing site for students, faculty, staff, and community members who are seeking a high-quality, affordable, and modernized testing experience. UNG Testing Centers will be recognized for its friendly and experienced staff, wide-ranging exam services, and its convenient multi-campus locations.
The University of North Georgia (UNG) Testing Center is a recognized member of the Georgia College Testing Association (GCTA) as well as the National College Testing Association (NCTA). During the 2018 Annual GCTA Conference, Testing Center staff presented on “Building an Off-Campus Testing Facility” which highlighted the process of establishing off-site testing facilities at UNG. Outside of our participation with GCTA and NCTA, our centers are recognized as one of College Board’s CLEP Program Top 100 National Testing Centers.
